to make a succesful map.

Step 1)
Make your floor on the top right screen. Make it 1024 - 1024.
"Click on the 1024, then drag it to -1024, and same on the vertical line.

Step 2)
Add a wall, with the size of 512 in the heigth.
"You do this the same as above, but now on the left under screen.

Step 3)
Now give your wall and floor a texture.
"You can do this by shift-click wall and then press T, then choose your texture you wish."

Step 4)
Now add the roof and the other walls, and give them a texture.
"Now you know how to do this, your result will be a open place."

Step 5)
Now add a door in one of your walls. Make the heigth of the door 320.
"Don't know how to add a door? Make a square the size of your door, and fit it in your wall, then press SHIFT+U. Now delete the block by pressing Backspace."

Step 6)
Now you got a door! Add some other walls to give it some real-looking stuff.
